Every minute on the minute for 30 minutes of:
Minute-1: 50-meter shuttle runs
Minute-2: 12 burpees
Minute-3: 15 sit-ups
– Score: complete all rounds.
– Intensity: low.
– Aim: stay in the aerobic zone.
Instructions:
Today is multi modal Zone 2 training, where time is not a factor. You will run and complete body weight movements so the best place to complete this workout is outdoors. Maintain an easy, steady pace during the shuttle runs. Focus on quality when doing the calisthenics movements. Whatever time left of any minute is rest.
Alternative to burpee is down-up. You may substitute the 50-meter shuttle runs with 45 seconds of air bike or rowing.
Warm-up:
10 Spiderman lunges with rotation (5 left, 5 right)
200 meters run
10 push-ups
10 air squats
10 sit-ups
10 burpees
