About the Coach

Hi, I’m Csaba Kis, founder of GARAGEGRIT

Physical training has always been an essential part of my life. I practiced martial arts, became a high school track athlete, and later tried myself as a mountain bike competitor. I came across functional fitness at the beginning of my military service during the rigorous training at the Royal Air Force Collage.

During my air force career I completed several tours and I was flying on long patrol missions that required both physical and mental strength. Functional fitness empowered me to handle these challenges so I decided to help others to reach their peak performance. I invested into formal education and became a Certified Fitness Instructor, obtained CrossFit Level-1 certification, completed workout programming and Olympic weightlifting courses. For more than six years, I’ve coached group classes and trained athletes in-person.

As a fifty year old father of two myself, who has a nine-to-five job I fully understand how challenging it is to fit an effective workout routine into the schedule of a busy life. I’m committed to providing you with the best training program making that possible. Life is out there let’s get fit to live it.
